Commitment Issues

Many of us find it easy to commit into activities such as diet plans, exercising, jogging, marathons, reading, dancing, relationships, to name a few.

As much as all these activities satisfy a certain area of our lives not all can completely satisfy us and feed the soul.

It is so much easier to give to an external ability in order to find internal fulfillment. But truth is, many of the activities we commit ourselves to, are not able to reach the depth of our inner being, to satisfy a void unexplanably existing inside of us.

The best commitment one can give for themselves, is the commitment on self and God. You see, try as we may, we can never find fulfillment from anyone else, nor any external force or aspect. We become bitter when we do not find that which we search for in others.

There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God, where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises.
Psalms 25:14 TPT

When we commit ourselves, our time, our lives, our whole being to God, we discover purpose and fulfillment. We are satisfied by who we are in Christ and what we offer to the world.

Anything else we commit to after Christ, becomes a part of an enjoyed activity not a quest to find fulfillment.

Choose best what you commit to, does it fulfill you internally? Or does it keep you occupied just enough not to notice the emptiness you feel?

Commit to God, and all else falls into place.

  1. Even when when my hurts are legitimate and deep, the challenge is for us to remember Jesus loves His us. He doesn’t ignore our flaws or shortcomings, and Jesus never, never condones abuse or hurt, pain and etc.

Christ loves the Church He died for. That for me made it so easy to give my love to Him and commit myself to Him for all the days of my life.

    1. Amen and amen, we are truly nothing without our Lord, He carried our hurts, pains and shame on Himself and gave us freedom in Him. It’s great to hear from you.

      Stay blessed loved one
